Abstract

This project work is about evaluating and improving the usability of a real world system - a ticket machine. During the evaluation dierent methods from the HCI domain are used. Based on the results of this evaluation the current design is improved where necessary using HCI guidelines, principles and theories. The final design is evaluated and tested again. This results in a measurable design improvement according to the defined usability requirements.
